I think Frank said the same thing about New Joisey.  I wouldn't abuse this 
perception of the law too much.  In case there is some catastrophic accident 
that you are involved in and it goes to a lengthy court battle which could 
cost you millions of dollars (leaving little income for beer, let alone LBC 
parts!) you had better not be too far away from the letter of the law.

One of the reasons we have low insurance premiums for collector cars and, in 
some states, lower registration costs and perks like antique and classic 
tags, is that we are responsible citizens and basically obey the laws to an 
acceptible level.  Let's not blow it for everybody.
