The rotor turned out to be the culprit. However, as Peter points out, there
may be other factors downstream that are forcing the current to flow
inappropriately.
Thanks to all that sent suggestions for getting the car on the road.
If you are ever stranded in Atlanta, call Drees Towing!! Be sure to ask for
a flatbed, and if he's available, Wayne to drive it. I've used them twice
and they are fast to arrive and slow (read: carefu) to load and haul. BTW,
Drees is also the suggested tow company of the local LBC shops.
