I haven't seen a lot of leaf green cars, but I got this version of leaf green
from an e-mail that was sent to the Spridgets list several months ago -- Frank
Clarici was kind enough to forward it to me so I didn't miss it.
The paint code for Leaf Green (GN.15) is ICI 3242. The color is
readily available in a modern urethane called "2K". Call ICI @
1-800-647-6050 to find a local supplier. (Speak to Jim Skal)
I've done a number of comparisons of modern ICI mixes to original
paint samples and for the most part the colors are quite good
matches. (The modern mixes are matched to original color standards
on file at ICI)
I've done several sprayouts of the color for a project I'm working on
and was happy with the result.

I printed this letter and took it to the body guy, and he had the paint mixed.
Don't know if he used the 2K formulation, but I'll ask him. He sprayed the
shifter boot for my approval, and I approved. I think of BRG being a good bit
darker than this.
A couple of people asked about the bonnet buffers, steering rack, shocks, and
such that were painted body color. Those will all be replaced...or left the
wrong color. I'm not uptight about which items should be which color.
Thanks to everyone for your encouragement!
Amy
