Sorry no one responded. I'll try. I went to your web site address
and checked your seat. It looks great.
What I know is that there is definately a right and left seat. When
folding each seat forward, you will notice that there is a slight
tendancy for the backs to lean toward one side. When installed in
the car, you want each seat back to lean toward the center of the
car when folding the seat back forward.
If you get the seats installed on the wrong side of the car, they will
still fit. However, when the seat backs are upright, the outer edge
of the seat backs will hit the interior of the car just behind the door.
After saying all of this, my experiences are with seats from two '66
cars. However, I did sell a pair of seats from an early '69 (no head
rests) and they folded forward in the manner I described above.
I sent this response to the List with the idea that someone will
correct me if I am wrong.
