Frank, Having been through this once and getting ready to do it again this fall, I have a couple of thoughts. 1) Follow what was suggested here (Except the gun). I especially like the "emergency" cell phone. Didn't have such a critter the first time around (7 years ago). 2) Make sure sure she passes a good driver training course. 3) An emergency only ATM or Credit card. (Not real conviced of this if a phone is available). 4) Trust in your daughter that she has learned from your teachings (but not your behavior). Smile, grin and bear it. Then after she drives away you can turn and cry and worry for all you want - just don't let her see it.
