I have had good success by no longer using the "competition
copper" gasket, and replacing it with the Mini Metro Turbo gasket.
Since then I haven't had gasket problems (this is on my race motor).
The local guru A series engine builder put me onto it. I buy them from him
but I'm sure you can source them out of the UK.
