Yes, it's smoothish but from memory the Bug system is 7/8" so not only will
it not fit the engine won't be happy.

So,
Does this mean I can use a Bugeye muffler on my '69?  I threw out my
muffler
since it had restrictor rings in it.  If I had a 1.5" straight thru muffler
with a smoothe inner bore I would be really happy.  Maybe even a 1.375" id
to match my tailpipe.  Is it so?  Is the Bugeye muffler really smooth on
the
inside and sounding good?
