My one and only brand new car (out of about 35 cars I've owned) was a '75
Fiat X1/9. I loved that car. It never gave me any trouble in 50,000
miles. Then I backed it into a telephone pole at 60 mph. I went over a
huge bump in the road, got airborne, came down on the RF, and spun into the
pole. I sold it because the car was never the same after that <g>. BTW, I
didn't have a scratch. If you are going to hit something at high speed, do
it going backwards in a car with high-back bucket seats.
