Axle Bearings

        To Whomever may Know:
                I'm rebuilding the rear axle on my '62 MkII, and have a
question on the axle bearings.
The bearings stand proud of the hubs when fully inserted, Knowing that they
have a problem with leaking
 onto the brakes, is this a potential problem, or will the O-rings still
seal and the bearings sit into the 
detent of the axle shaft cover itself? Thanking everyone in advance for the
