Just want to add to the Palo Alto Speedo recommendation. I've had Porsche
356 (sorry about the "P word") instruments done there for about 20 years.
Most recently they rebuilt a set of gauges and converted from 6 to 12 volts.
These folks are so into their craft that they actually take note of the date
stamps on the instrument case and after cleaning the case they recreate the
stamp perfectly, with the same date! It's downright spooky how good these
people are, like they're caught in some kind of time warp and are living in
some kind of old world where customer service and doing the job right still
count! Now if they'd only get into the rechroming business and deliver the
same kind of quality!

On a completely different topic, I recently had an excellent experience
getting British keys from Pete Groh. He's kind of a one man band on a
mission doing his key thing on the side, but I gave him a long list of key
numbers for the XK 120, Sprite, Mark II Jag, and the E-Type and he came up
with not one, but THREE original keys for every number I gave him except
one, and he has me on a wait list for that one. That's an amazing hit ratio.
Oh yeah... his tel is 410-750-2352. He does have e-mail but I don't have
that handy.

Obviously "buyer beware" and "your experience may differ" but both these
outfits were great and did exactly what they promised.
