As usual, there has been some very information shared regarding my request for help. Heck, with resources this good, who would ever need to buy a book? It appears that the wiring, as far as the alternator is concerned, was done by someone who knew what they were doing. Of course, they did not follow the standard LBC wiring color code, but hey, what the hack - it worked! All is now well, and the battery actually charges almost a volt better than before, thanks to all of the connector improvements made (was barely 13 volts before, now about 13.8 or so). Thank you wonderful people on this list. Scott Meyers 60 Bugeye 1275 Now....time to install that PCV valve to reduce those leaks.... :-) |
