You can get an extra core to fit. My crossflow has an extra one.
If you are planning to get the radiator recored, then personally I'd
be re-coreing a crossflow. My experience with downflows hasn't been
as good as Frank's - but I have had no problems with crossflows.
Maybe Frank is lucky or I am unlucky - don't know. Since the factory
changed over to the crossflow for later models, presumably they
thought there'd be some improvement.
