just in case there is any confusion I would add that the boiling point and the temperature are not the same thing. The boiling point can increase as Ulix details and also according to how much the cooling system is pressurised. A faulty radiator pressure cap will allow the engine to boil over at a lower temperature. This is because when the cap works it pressurises the system and raises the boiling point, so when it doesn't..... Daniel 1312 |
