My experience is that if the voltage stabiliser goes the instruments go haywire rather than fuses blow, but your problem may be different from mine. In the UK at least, if the petrol tank is going to leak it goes on the sides first and then the bottom. I would check the pipe first on the basis that if the tank is leaky the fumes still have to get into the boot, whereas if the pipe is gone - the fumes are in the boot straightaway. Daniel 1312 |
