Just remember to tie up the driveshaft FIRMLY and SOLIDLY. Remember the front end of the driveshaft is just a slide-on fit, it is NOT bolted on. If you use a piece of cheap cord, you might see the driveshaft fly by you on the highway. Don't ask me how I know, I just know :-) Daniel T. -----Original Message----- . It is not necessary to remove the driveshaft but merely disconnect it from the differential then use a block of wood in the tunnel to prop it up out of the way and to one side, and tie it firmly in place.
