Aux lights

I am planning to eventually put on some extra lights up front for better
visibility at night.   Question 1. can the generator by modified to put out
more amps?                      2. is there another BMC gen that could be
used?  3.Yes, I know I could just go to an alternator but then I would have
to go to Neg ground and re-do the  tach. Any thoughts out there?   Bob C.
