My son and his wife, being a much younger vintage than myself, and only having expierence with POWER bakes, learned this lesson the hard way also. He insisted that there was something wrong with the brakes on the little car the first time he drove it. A caution to first time drivers of our vintage cars is definately in order, especially the younger drivers who don't have the benefit of ever actually driving a car with "standard" brakes.
