I am getting replies about the aftermarket bearings that are available and am wondering if they are a direct replacement for the carbon bearing and are they installed the same way as the carbon bearing? I have heard about the roller bearings that are available, but this unit seems to be part of the pressure plate sort of like they were mated during manufacturing. The only way I can see to install this is to hook the clips on the release lever after the tranny and engine are mated, (reaching thru the inspection holes on the tranny). Is this the way the aftermarket bearings are installed? Thanks, Kevin |
