I bought some blades before and cut them down but the only ones
I can seem to get are very stiff. They only meet the screen in about 2 small
spots
and won't form properly. I had hoped the original ones would be better.
I saw a post a couple of weeks ago mentioning some product you can coat the
screen with so the water runs off. Anybody know what this is? I remember an
old
trick about smearing the glass with a potato cut in half. When I'm in
Ireland that should be
no problem!
The gearbox doesn't jump out of gear at all and has no pressure on the shift
lever in any gear
so I should be OK there. I also just talked to the supplier here and he
reckoned the same.
It should last and even if first goes it shouldn't destroy the rest and let
me down. I hope so.
