Thanks for all the responses to my problem about leaking gas from my float bowl. Sorry I don't have time to respond individually. As I now understand it: if the needle valve fails to close, the gas overflows by design, so neither my gasket nor my fuel pipe connection are at fault. As soon as I get a free minute, I will tear down the float and check the needle valve. Chas Douglass -- Seattle WA |
