Am about to replace camshaft and fit a new set of followers. The new followers are a dark matt grey, not shiney ( and pitted! ) like the old ones. Is this some sort of protective coating that I should remove or do I just give them a wipe over with oil and fit them as they are ? I have special cam lube, and understand (from the list brain) about bedding the new cam shaft in at 2500+ rpm Guy |
