Leo:
Good luck!!
I will check my "inventory" to see if I have any of those parts with the right
dates. If anyone has similar parts dated early 1958, let me know! For that
matter, I am still a buyer of any NOS part for early 1958 cars or clean
original parts form the same era.
It is not easy finding a clean, original windshield with the right date on it.
If I remember correctly, there was a lister who purchased a correctly dated one
recently but then cracked it upon installation (Carolyn maybe?). I think she is
looking for another. Not easy restoring a car to original, but a lot of fun in
the process :-). For those of you who could care less about originality, block
your ears! (That's why I have two sprites!).

Subject: parts needed
Well the bugeye is coming along slowly but steadily as I am waiting on parts
from AH spares to complete the front and rear suspension. I have been
working on other assemblies and am looking for a few other parts. Need a
voltage regulator base ( already have a perfect cap) with the following
on it,
RB106/2 12V 09 59 other numbers at this end I do not know, the one I
have was made in 11 67 and has 37182M after the mfg.. date. It does not
matter if the guts are any good as I will disassemble to polish and then
will replace with new innards. If the one you have is still good I would
also send a new regulator in exchange minus the cap as I let it go for an
original cover.
Also can anyone send me the info on the markings on an original windshield
as it will be the next part beginning searched for. My cars parts production
dates are all 09/59.
Also beginning searched for are the original plug wire ends and numbering
ferrules.
Thanks in advance
