Dustin, I have a '72 that came with the 2 mufflers at right angles with the exhaust exiting from the passenger side. I replaced it last year with the older version (yes, the hangers match up fine) that is a straight pipe with one muffler. It sounds great, but I do NOT get any explosions between shifts. Just a low, balsy rumble on downshifts. Love it! chuck  |
