I've tried to adjust my handbrake so it offers at least some rolling resistance, so far without success. I think I have moved the adjusting nuts as far as they can go, that is they are as far towards the rear of the car as possible, if that makes any sense. Any further and the rear nut of the two will be hanging on to thin air. Am I moving the nuts the wrong way? Is the cable stretched and should be replaced?
