A couple of quick questions about fiberglass bonnets for the Frog Eye
Sprite.
I've done some cursory research and it seems there are several
manufacturers of fiberglass bonnets for the Frog Eye. One type I've
found has all the internal structures of the original bonnet and another
is merely a shell. In both cases, the bonnets are primarily set up to
hinge from the front.
Does anyone out there have experience with fiberglass bonnets for the
Sprite? If so, Is there a particular name brand or distributor that is
better than the others?
Does anyone have experience with hinge kits such as the one sold by Mini
Mania?
The Winner's Circle sells a bonnet that can be hinged from the rear but
has no mechanical provision for locking from the front. Any experience
or hints on how to secure the front?
