Philip,
If you can't see a flange on you manifold, it probably is the early 1275
style.  Later 1275 used a flanged system but still one muffler.
I would just buy an earlier downpipe, I think they are about $20 or so
from SICP.  Make sure you replve the clamp setup for a leak free
connection.
