If your talking about the auto jumble, its not real active. I am 99% sure
that people don't mind you asking for parts.
And I am 90% sure people in here don't mind you posting parts in here up
for sale as long as you aren't a dealer, the list isn't to long, and you
don't post it often (once a month would probably be to much).
And I am about 50% sure that most people wouldn't mind a dealer who only
says I'm having a sale, email or look at a web site for info. That is
against the rules of the list, but many think it is a service. Others will
flame the heck out of you for that though.
As it goes I would much rather see one message to the group than a bulk
mailer using my address any day (though that has never happened in
association with any mailing list that I am on).
As for the heat shield, I don't have one, but it shouldn't be that hard to
find.

Anyway, has anyone got for sale a carb heat shield for a 1975 Midget. It's
in the Moss catalog, but no longer available. Apparently, it does squat
all (there's that word again) for shielding heat but by the looks of it, it
could hold about half a cup of gasoline from the dripping Zenith Stromberg.
