Took the block into the machine shop today and they found a gouge in the #1 bore. The block has already been bored .020 over and the machinist thinks it needs another .020 to take out the blemish. How successful is boring the block this far, generally? Again, this is a street engine and I want to get 60k from it. -- Matt Liggett '60 Mini, '70 Midget, '89 SAAB 900t SPG |
