Just to clear things up, Jeff and Chuck both have 1275s...
Chuck, to get it to euro spec, you need to raise compression ratio by
swapping pistons, possibly change the cam and the distributor.

Furthermore:
The non-smog 1275s have 65hp, the non-smog euro 1500s have 66hp.
Trevor B. made the point before about these two figures being measured at
different standards.  Not that big a difference though, I think.
The 1500 has more torque, I am sure, so would be the more powerful engine.
