The dipstick on my Midget 1500 is very difficult to insert because it rams right into an engine mount (or something, I forget, it's winter and the car has been asleep for a while). It never fails to give me that "something must be wrong" feeling, because you have to bend the stiff dipstick a fair bit to get it in.
