If out of the car & oil pan is off - block crank rotation with wood. I
used a 3/4" drive breaker bar with socket on mine. I don't usually
advocate beating on tools, but I have used Frank's special service tool #1
to either 1) pound on the end of the breaker bar or 2) beat on the head
while applying rotational torque with the bar - this will often jar things
loose. If in the car, impact wrench at a local service station might be the
best option. Not sure what you have tried.

Seriously, you have to know Bill Thompson to appreciate what he was trying
to do. Apparently he was taking a jab at the Big Healey list and thought
we would get a kick out of it. Too bad that wasn't clear in the original
post - I'm sure it was an oversight.
