Question I have is the elbow shaped thermostat housing would not
seperate from the cylinder head. It is like welded on, the material it
is comprized of seems to be a aluminum substance, anybody ever run into
this before? (I'll order a new one and find a way to remove this one)
Any advice wwould be appreciated.

Fred

Spray the studs with liquid wrench or similar penatrating oil (WD 40
does not work as good) after it soaks for a while heat the aluminum
T/stat cover with a propane torch. (remember you are heating it not
melting it) spray on some more liquid wrench, tap lightly with a hammer,
stick a heavy duty screw driver or what ever fits into the water outlet
and wiggle it up and down. This should work it loose.
If not repeat all of the above.

As for MOSS parts, if you specify "NO CHINESE OR TAIWAN JUNK" they will
not send it. Of course most of your order will not be shipped.
English, German, Italian, and US parts all seem to fit and work fine,
I don't understand why the Asians can't make anything worth more then
the box it comes in!
