While I'm sure the original sender of this note was trying to be helpful,
the info is not correct. To subscribe to a list you need to do more than just
send the list name, you need to tell majordomo what to do with it. The correct
procedure is
subscribe british-cars
subscribe healeys-digest
subscribe spridgets
subscribe vintage-race
subscribe newletters
subscribe healeys
...
or if you want to be removed, then
unsubscribe british-cars
...
And you need to use the exact name of the list you are on, not the one you
think it is called. To get the list of list served from here, send mail to
majordomo@autox.team.net with the command
lists
mjb.
