I think ads are fine for this list. You may want to put "for sale" or "wanted" at the start of the subject line - then people can easily choose to read or ignore them. Who could complain about that? Alternatively, I'll be happy to run your ads (Spridget related) on PDLJMPR. Right now, I think I have about 150 ads on the site. Let me know if/when you want to place them.
