If you already have a jack and it doesn't fit, you could just get a couple of
short scrap wooden planks and drive onto them with the front wheels, giving
you enough clearance. We used to do that a lot with our old autocross Spitfire
4 with its ultra-short, stiff front springs and low profile slicks!
