Joe & Dan,
This is a part that goes inside the late model distributor and works
with the Opus Electronic Ignition. This fits over the distributor
shaft and the little black bits fire off the electronic contacts.
The only reason I know this is that I just took my distributor apart
to install a NOS replacement Opus electronic ignition module. This
is what I bought:
