Hi Jim,
It's quite unlike the original carpet in appearance, and yes, certainly too
modern looking to my eye. I'm not knocking it, there's no doubt it's streets
ahead of anything else available (in the UK at least, I don't get to see
what's made in the US!). You simply have to accept it's limitations, or find
your own solution,
