However breaking that leaf will remove *all* the roll stifffness from the rear.
Or to put it another way, even more than it was before the front will be the
determinant of the car's roll attitude. If it leaned to one side before, it
was front's fault, and now it will *really* be the front's fault.
In addition, the car should understeer worse because of the increased loading
of the outside front tire.
In any case, you'll need to replace the rear spring or that leaf. But doing so
will cause the rear to re-mask (at least some of) the problem which still
exists at the front.
