How ironic. I have been wondering how you are
supposed to make it sty in place.
It seems to be simply pressed in place (definitely
no threads), so brute force would be needed
to remove it (except in my case).

In my case, many years ago, mine kept popping out, which of course caused
its share of running problems. Fortunately, my local old-time gas station guys
showed me how they carefully peened a couple spots on the inside of the hole
on the manifold and tapped the valve back home. It never came loose again
after that.

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
