Afternoon all from a sunny and very dry Brisbane.
I'm trying to change the ignition key switch on my Spitfire 4, as the spring
that returns the switch to its normal operating position after engaging the
starter has failed. Bought a new switch from my local Triumph specialist
but I can't seem to get the key barrel out of the old one. From the look of
the new switch it should just pull out (after removing the switch from the
dash panel), but it refuses to budge. Is there a trick to this or has the
key barrel frozen in place?
