I am in need of an exhaust system now that i am moving into a more populated
area and the neighbors might not like me running the Spitfire with open
headers. I also want to get one because of what someone said about loud
headers covering up the sounds of any other problems with the engine.
So...my question is this. I am looking at either the Bell Stainless
exhaust system or the Monza. Both of them appear to go straight up the
center of the car. Is this correct? If so, how are people connecting
headers that terminate next to and sort of below the transmission to these
exhaust systems? Custom piping from the end of the headers to the exhaust
system? Does anyone have any underside pictures of this sort of setup? I
just want to know what to expect when i finally make my decision between the
two systems.
Thanks,
Dave
