Hi Andy,
The best product is a lacquer type of spray paint since the carpets are
synthetic. I used a product supposedly for carpets but it smelled like
any other vinyl color paint sold by the same manufacturer.
That is unless they are pure wool then a dye would be best.
I once did this to a sun faded carpet to restore the black and it
looked great. You should also steam clean them first to get better
results.
