Valves needed

Wonder if someone might be able to help me out.  I'm in the process of
porting a 1500 head and need an old intake and exhaust valve to finish 
polishing the chambers.  I need to cut down the face of the valve such
that it will lay flat in the chamber so I can do the polishing work
without 
risk damaging the seats.  Unfortunately I only have the finished valves
for the head and can't bring myself to butcher new ones.
