I was in the 3rd MAW VMFA-212. A pilot wrote the safety wire on his joystick came loose, but he was able to fix it. I didn't know they carried safety wire pliers and some safety wire in their jumpsuit. The Phantom didn't have a glove box. Larry >Serving with the Marine air wing in early 70's |
