Hi Everyone,
Well, tonight on my way back from bowling in Pacifica,
I was at a stop light and the person in front of me
backed up to get out of the intersection. In doing so,
they backed into the hood of my Mk3, and their trailer
hitch gouged in the sheet metal below the left
headlight before continuing down the side of the hood
to the wheel well.
I'm going to get bodyshop estimates tomorrow, but I'd
also like to check and see first if anyone in
California (preferably Northern California) has a
straight, rust-free hood for a '68-70 Spitfire Mk3 or
GT6 Mk2. Please email me off-list with your asking
price, location, color of hood and condition.
