Hello again. Just rejoined after about 9 months off the list. I got the
Spitfire done by last September in time for our big car show. Won best
restoration with it, so was very pleased. Now that it is running and looking
good I thought I'd make some minor mods to make highway driving more
comfortable.
I bought a diff from a '69 GT6 and intend to install it soon. I was wondering
what the correct speedometer would be for that diff. I believe the one I have
in right now is a 1164, but I know it reads about 10 percent low for the
present Spitfire diff. Could it be the correct one for a 3.63 GT6 diff? All
ideas appreciated as I couldn't find anything on the archive.
