tip for loose accelerator linkage

I discovered a new and I think important tip that y'all might be interested
in.
I had a persistent and annoying rattle coming from somewhere under the
dashboard - mostly at idle.
Traced it to the accelerator linkage - where it passes through the
firewall.

Solution:
Keep accelerator pedal firmly wedged at bottom of available travel.

Was quite pleased my with solution.
