I can second or support Joe's comment. Unfortunately, I don't recall the
specific name either. It was a turtle wax product and came out as a white
foam -- I used it many, many years ago on white interior -- worked great.

We have just acquired a white, - yes...a white...vinyl convertible top.
It
is in fairly good condition but could use a good cleaning
So - does anyone have any recommendations for a product that as well as
the
usual cleaning and protecting would remove a few discoloring (grayish)
stains without doing more harm than good? They are very minor, but I
would
like it to look a little better or newer - The previous owner obviously
didn't bother to keep it in tip top shape :-)
I have also heard very good reviews of the Mister Clean no dry system -
in
fact a local TV station did a "consumer report" on it using the tap
water
in my area ( I guess they felt it particularly bad??) and it did all
that
it claimed to do - left the car spotless, even on the chrome and windows
-
We may try it on one of the cars to see how good it really is - Id love
to
not have to dry the louvers on the GT6!! And it's a dark green car too

Way back in the vinyl top days, I had a Monte Carlo with a white vinyl
top in West Texas and it was hard to keep clean. I found a Turtle Wax
product that worked better than anything else I found. As I recall, it
was a foam that sprayed out of an aerosol can.
