Martin,
I would have a word with whomever you bought your tonneau cover from.
I bought one quite a few years ago, and it didn't fit. Not only were the
studs on the front of the dash in the wrong place, but the steering wheel
was in the wrong place, too.
I was convinced that I'd bought a dud, but just to be sure, I tried it on a
friend's car, and found it fitted perfectly. It was my car that was the
wrong shape, not the tonneau.
I phoned the supplier, and they told me to send it back with a letter
describing the problem. I did as they asked, expecting a refund - and was
quite surprised when a new tonneau turned up in the post a week later, and
even more surprised when it fitted!!! The supplier had used my (very rough)
measurements of how far out the various clips and bits were to modify a
tonneau for me. If only everyone's customer service was that good! And if
only I'd known they'd do this - I'd have taken accurate measurements, and
then the tonneau would, no doubt, have fitted perfectly.
Wish I could remember the name of the supplier, but it was a few years ago.
But it's the big one, that everyone's heard of.....
Dean

I wonder if someone on the list can answer my question?
Were the studs on the dash panel in a standard place?
