This is almost certainly a waste of time and money. People always seem to do
this when they can't figure out what else to do, and the only result is
that they have a new source of future electrical problems.
Definitely check the diaphragm. Also see if the needle has gotten
unscrewed from its adjuster on the bottom of the piston, and is
falling down too far into the jet. This is easy to check while
you're inspecting the diaphragm.
